Two days ago new age, skinny-jean wearing spreadsheet app Rows launched Rows AI, and it’s a great peek into how AI will upgrade your spreadsheets.
AI Analyst - Generate a set of insights based on your data
Chat With Your Data - Ask questions of your data
Classify - Classify data into any arbitrary category you provide
Formula Ask - Generative responses from inside cell formulas
Excel & Google Sheets have teased similar functionalities, but we don’t have anything more than fancy trailers. Props to Rows for being the first-mover 🏆

For developers, a fairly significant release from OpenAI this week:
A new more structured approach to let models call functions, making it easier for developers to integrate GPT with third-party systems
A version of the GPT-3.5 model with 4x as much memory (context) - unfortunately they’re still using the wee bitty one in ChatGPT
The embeddings model we discussed in that fully automated bookkeeping pod? It just decreased in cost by another 75%
A slight decrease in price for the old 3.5 model
OpenAI also released a guide to help you write better prompts
